Maksym Krippa acquires Ukraine's largest exhibition center

Well-known Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa, who owns such significant assets as the Parus business center and the Ukraine hotel in Kyiv, has recently made an important investment in real estate. This time, he gained control of more than 75% of the shares of the company that manages Ukraine’s largest exhibition complex, the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv.

According to a report by Interfax-Ukraine, Krippa acquired 50.04% of the shares of A.T.V.T., which was previously the main shareholder of the IEC. In addition, he bought shares from Anatoly and Elena Tkachenko, which allowed him to concentrate more than three-quarters of the rights to the International Exhibition Center LLC.

In an interview with the media, the businessman noted that he has been actively investing in real estate both in Ukraine and abroad for over two decades. According to him, each new investment in his native country not only has an economic effect, but also confirms his faith in Ukraine’s future and its potential on the international arena.

“The main agreements have already been concluded, and now our attention is focused on the strategic development of this facility,” Krippa concluded.

Innovation and change

Maksym Krippa, the new majority owner of the International Exhibition Center (IEC), shared his plans for the future development of this important facility. The businessman is confident that the IEC can become not only a venue for events, but also a symbol of a modern Ukraine that is open to the world.

According to Krippa, the center has the potential to become a major platform for international conferences, large business forums, and industry events. He emphasized the importance of human resources:

“The IEC has enormous potential, but first and foremost, it is the people. We plan to retain the team of professionals, including more than 130 specialists who are already working on the development of this facility.”

The businessman also noted that a change in strategic approach is a priority. He means creating a more technological space that is open to new ideas and inclusive for various formats of interaction. Krippa does not rule out that in the future it may be necessary to rethink the functional purpose of the exhibition complex, taking into account global trends and market demands.

At the same time, he reassured that the IEC building is in good technical condition, so there are no plans for major repairs or expansion at this time.

As a reminder, in May 2025, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine approved an agreement that allowed control of the country’s largest exhibition complex to be changed. This allowed Citadel Ventures Cyprus Limited, whose beneficiary, according to YouControl, is Maksym Krippa, to gain control over the Cypriot company A.T.V.T. Business Expo Holdings Ltd. This company owns a 50.04% stake in the International Exhibition Center LLC.
